Our Logo

Our tree logo (slightly different than the website version) can be found on our stationery,  Sunday bulletins, gym floor, and on signs throughout our building.   

There are several references to trees in the Bible.  Jeremiah 17:7-8 says, “…blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."  (also Psalm 1:1-3)

Our logo represents the strength of a tree that we experience when rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ – regardless of the dry, parched or difficult times.  If we are rooted and grounded in Jesus, He enables us to take the heat and stand in faith during difficult days.  A tree that bears fruit does go through seasons.  It looks almost lifeless during the winter; in reality, however, life-giving nourishment is coursing through its branches sustaining it and preparing it for new growth.  The same is true in regard to our walk with Jesus.  In whatever season of life we find ourselves, Jesus is there in all of His love, wisdom, and power to sustain us.  In John 15:5, Jesus said, “If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”  We can accomplish nothing of eternal value in our own strength.  The only way we can bear the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc. as listed in Galatians 5:22-23) is through our relationship with Jesus Christ.

The tree logo is a symbol of strength, growth and good fruit evidenced in those grounded and rooted in Jesus Christ – for our church as well as every individual believer!  It also represents life, shade, relief, and protection.  The delight and awesome opportunity of every believer is to share this wonderful message of love, hope, forgiveness and eternal life with our family, friends and community.
